Notes

She's a forensic psychologist and professor at the University of Denver who admitted participating in George Floyd riots. She said her face burned for days from the tear gas. In a podcast Alexander claimed that vandalism doesn't count as violence so a protest with vandalism isn't violent and shouldn't be called a riot. She later sued the city for supposed injuries suffered at the protest. She was a Denver BLM leader and claims the chapter is attempting to reach out to "non-traditional" and LGBTQ families. She suddenly stepped down from her leadership role in 2021 during a sexual assault scandal involving a Denver school board member and her BLM chapter. Alexander was appointed to a police oversight board after the George Floyd riots. https://archive.ph/u5ewp, https://archive.ph/l8uh9, https://archive.ph/fzM9D, https://archive.ph/KRDur https://web.archive.org/web/20220412075222/https://www.dailysignal.com/2020/07/02/a-deeper-look-at-black-lives-matter-and-its-impact/
