Notes

Christoper "Chris" Coventry Lowe (DOB: 10/28/58) is a DSA member who's allegedly connected on social media to the Von Gilbert / Smith crew within Rose City Antifa. His activist interests seem to cover nearly the entire spectrum of left-wing causes. On his Twitter feed he claims to be a writer, editor, researcher, historian of Africa, single payer advocate, housing justice and climate change advocate. Lowe was on the board of Portland Tenants United in the late 2010s and he also served on the board of Jobs with Justice and Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility. He supported a Portland teacher strike in 2013. He works as a freelance writer and editor. He's originally from New England and his parents were active in the Civil Rights movement. He moved to Oregon in 1977 to study at Reed College. Lowe has a PhD in history from Yale. He formerly taught African history at the college level. He did PhD work in Swaziland in South Africa and was an anti-Apartheid advocate. Lowe has no criminal convictions other than traffic infractions. He lives in a dumpy house that he apparently rents near Berkeley Park in Southeast Portland. https://archive.vn/keQBk, https://archive.vn/Ce3on, https://archive.vn/NIkv0, https://archive.vn/4P7y5 https://www.linkedin.com/in/christopher-lowe-6014691a
