Notes

Michael "Mick" H. Kelly (Born Aug. '57) is a communist and one of the leaders of the Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO), an organization that's allegedly funded by the Chinese Communist Party and is part of the CCP's plot to infiltrate American radical groups. He's the Political Secretary and claimed many of the organization's leaders had traveled to China and that the organization looks forward to building a closer relationship with the CCP. He also edited the organization's FightBack! Newsletter for a while. Kelly was one of the Minnesota radicals whose homes were raided by the FBI in 2010 and he was investigated by a grand jury for terrorism ties. He was arrested at the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul when he was passing out flyers and charged with soliciting and peddling. Kelly appears to have been one of the organizers of the riot at the 2008 RNC. He has numerous other arrests that appear to be riot / protest related including charges for trespassing, assault, obstructing the legal process and disorderly conduct. Kelly has been active in radical politics since the Vietnam War era and traveled to China in the 1970s. He's married to Minneapolis radical Linden Gawboy who may or may not be a member of the FRSO. She did admit to participating at the rioting at the 2008 Republican National Convention. The commie couple live in Minneapolis.
