In the summer of 2019, Kessler moved to Ellensburg, a relatively safe, quiet, rural, and conservative town in Kittitas County, and has been eager to foment extreme leftist and anarchist "direct action" in the local area. Shana Kessler is a self-described "anarchist" that wants to "overthrow the government." Shana uses "they-them" pronouns, and is an "Intramural Sports and Special Events Coordinator" at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington. Shana advocates for violent revolution and openly supports anarchist, far-leftist, and associated movements and their destructive protests. Kessler, under the username "punch nazis" created and runs the Antifa Telegram group "SOS Central WA" to organize "direct action" in Central Washington. Ironically, for all of their self-styled anarchist street-smarts, Kessler used poor OPSEC in Telegram with the username "punch nazis" and identifying info such as "they/them", which is strikingly and hilariously similar to their twitter page name "punch your local nazis." Shana is most likely an antifa poser, desperate to be part of "the revolution", but their views run counter to the supposed atmosphere of inclusivity championed by Central Washington University. Prospective students and their parents should be aware that CWU employs extremists such as Shana Kessler. Residents of Ellensburg and Kittitas County, and local law enforcement should also be aware that Shana Kessler is potentially organizing activities that could lead to politically-motivated violence and destruction of private property.
