Brennan Michael Gilmore (DOB: 04/13/79) attended the Charlottesville Unite the Right counter protest. He's best known for filming the car incident at the rally. He was Chief of Staff at the time for left-wing Democratic politician Tom Perrillo who was also a counter-protester at Charlottesville. He's a former Foreign Service officer who was accused of being a CIA officer and George Soros operative by several right-leaning media outlets. Gilmore was not happy with the press coverage of the event and later sued several journalists. He's currently (2022) Executive Director of Clean Virginia, a group that opposes fossil fuels. He's a musician and plays in a band in his spare time.
