Notes

Amanda Lee Houdeschell (DOB: 05/02/98) is a radical animal rights activist and a member of the radical animal rights group Direct Action Everywhere (DxE). In 2017, she was one of the DxE members who disrupted a Nathan's hot dog eating contest in New York. She's been arrested twice although it's uncertain if the charges stuck. Houdeschell participated in an anti-wool protest in which she was covered in blood and her hair cut off. Houdeschell also founded a group called Species Revolution which doesn't appear to have done much of anything. She describes herself as a proud Gen Z radical feminist. She's a TERF who's against fake women in sports and has attended anti-trans rallies so I'll give her props for that. She claims to have been sexually abused and she equates eating meat to sexual violence. Houdeschell has a B.A. from Cleveland State University and was a campus representative for PETA. She also worked as an intern for the Girl Scouts while in college. She got hitched at age 18 to an Arab guy but the marriage may not have lasted, and she doesn't appear to have taken his surname. They no longer live together. She lives in the Detroit suburb of Redford and her house is partially obscured on Google maps. This usually happens when someone is exposed to unwanted publicity. Google didn't do a very good job and you can still see the modest, white colonial house. https://archive.ph/RkvWL https://archive.ph/Uke5N https://archive.ph/zUdJU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frXyiHWBNVA&ab_channel=Women%27sLiberationFront https://www.linkedin.com/in/amanda-houdeschell
