Notes

Nikuyah Rashelle Walker (DOB: 01/17/80) participated in the Unite the Right counter-protest in 2017. She was later elected Charlottesville's first black female mayor. Walker ran as an independent and was supported by the Democratic Socialists. She resigned under a cloud while she was under investigation for using her city credit card to buy personal gifts. She claimed she resigned in anger after the city's black female police chief was fired. In 2021, she wrote an explicit poem about her beloved city which included the classic lines, "It rapes you, comforts you in its s**t stained sheet and tells you to keep its secrets.” and, "It’s as if good ole Thomas Jefferson is still cleverly using his whip to whip the current inhabitants into submissiveness. . . . Charlottesville is anchored in white supremacy and rooted in racism." She was blasted by many people including rape survivors. Walker has numerous arrests including two assault and battery charges, disorderly conduct, failure to appear and cursing and abusing a police officer. She's special and thinks she can park in handicap parking spots and received a citation for the offense. She owns a small house in Charlottesville. https://archive.vn/cNx0I#selection-495.94-495.108 https://archive.vn/nZ5Sn, https://archive.vn/ivnuc
