Notes
Ashlyn Danielle Ruga (DOB: 03/21/91) is allegedly connected on social media to the Tristan Romine-Mann (Tristan Isaac) gang within Rose City Antifa. She's an attorney and probably isn't a hard-core on the ground Antifa member. She does, however, openly support Antifa. Ruga was on the Portland National Lawyer's Guild board for a time and served as the Anti-Racism co-chair. While earning her law degree, she was an extern for the Civil Liberties Defense Center. Ruga was also the defense attorney in at least one prominent Antifa trial. She moved to Illinois in 2019 to work for the Chicago Community Bond Fund. She's wrote an article on the National Lawyer's Guild website where she said, "Portland, OR has seen a massive influx of resistance to the overt and undeniable fascism and white supremacy that President Trump has re-legitimized since the 2016 election." Referring to Trump as an enabler of fascism and white supremacy is Antifa double-speak. In the same article, she complained about Portland police transporting Patriot Prayer members back to their cars. She also discussed how the NLG was supporting Occupy ICE protesters. Ruga is hell on wheels. She has numerous traffic citations and she has an Oregon DUI arrest and a probable conviction as she was later charged with violating an ignition interlock device installation condition. Ruga has a B.A. in philosophy and international studies from the University of San Francisco and a JD from Lewis & Clark. While everyone, including Antifa members, has a right to a criminal defense attorney, in my opinion Ruga is probably more than just a run-of-the-mill defender of radicals. https://archive.vn/97h8u, https://archive.vn/FznJ1 https://archive.vn/ctzK8#selection-487.9-487.27 https://archive.vn/6kj1v#selection-957.283-957.294 http://www.linkedin.com/in/ashlynruga
