Notes
She's a radical Roman Catholic pacifist and member of the St. Patrick's Day Four as well as the Plowshares movement. She's also the sister of fellow radical Teresa Grady. In 2003, Grady and three others defaced the military recruiting center in the Ithaca suburb of Lansing, New York by pouring their own blood on recruiting posters and the walls. She was found guilty of a Federal misdemeanor. Grady also participated in 2018 in the King's Bay Plowshares action which the group trespassed at a nuclear submarine base in Georgia. The group wore black bloc garb while conducting their action at the sub base. She was charged with the Federal crimes of criminal mischief, conspiring to impede a federal officer and trespassing at and damaging a government facility. She was later sentenced to a year and a day in prison for her crimes. Even though the radical left usually hates organized religion, the Anarchist Black Cross (ABC) has apparently adopted the King's Bay group and encouraged young anarchists to write to the group when they were in prison. Interestingly, the ABC includes an inverted cross in their logo, a symbol usually associated with Satanism. Although her most prominent "actions" took place before Antifa rose to prominence, Grady obviously holds many of the same political beliefs. She stile lives in the Ithaca, New York area where she works for a charity as a "kitchen coordinator". She supports herself by working as a massage therapist and dance instructor. Her age is a guess. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clare_Grady https://archive.vn/gPbyd https://archive.vn/wSSjo https://web.archive.org/web/20210610173537/https://nycabc.files.wordpress.com/2021/06/nycabc_polprisonerlisting_jun2021.pdf https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEuZCWcovYs&ab_channel=OtherVoices%2COtherChoices
