This lady traveled all the way from Maine to be arrested at a March 2021 pipeline protest in St. Louis County, MN. This protest was probably organized by Antifa and at least one Antifa member was in attendance. Birthisel attended Luther college in IA where she studied biology and ecology. She later earned a an M.S. and PhD from the University of Maine (professional student? She was in college for about 10 years). She worked for a few years as a post-doctoral researcher and lecturer at the University of Maine. She's a church lady. She now seems to work as Director of the Wilson Center, a non-denominational religious center at the U. of Maine. The Wilson Center's website says Birthisel's been working in youth ministry for over 15 years, no doubt convincing little Christian kids how evil capitalism is. She's affiliated with the Church of Universal Fellowship in Orono, a congregation created by the unholy (and possibly gay), marriage of a United Church of Christ and Unitarian congregation, two of the most liberal denominations around. She may or may not be directly affiliated with Antifa but she's certainly an ally and she's been arrested for Antifa causes.
