First Name : Michelle

Last Name : Xai

State : California

Notes

She's a member of the Revcom affiliated group Refuse Fascism and an organizer for Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights. She was unceremoniously dragged out of a Steve Mnuchin (Treasury Secretary) speech at UCLA in 2017 and was later charged. She's now perma-banned from the UCLA campus because of the stunt. She was arrested again for blocking traffic on the 101 freeway in 2017 but charges were eventually dropped. Xai wasn't actually at the protest, but an LAPD counter-terrorism infiltrator fingered her, and was charged with conspiracy. At a rally in NYC she said, "We have the power in the streets to change the conversation, to shake society awake, and actually drive out this fascist Trump/Pence regime." In an interview she stated, "As a revolutionary communist I think that America was never great. It was founded on slavery and genocide and this fascist regime came out of the same system and people need to confront that." https://archive.ph/uL3T4 https://archive.ph/Nkxru https://archive.ph/2Zq5P https://archive.ph/Xf3IL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhCIFjQ5aVc She participated in a Revcom disruption of an Orange County school board meeting in September 2023. https://archive.ph/gji3x#selection-2105.72-2105.84
