Notes
Wael M. Elasady, often misspelled "Elesady" is a nice Muslim boy and Antifa organizer who organized the violent counter-protest against a September 2017 Patriot Prayer rally in downtown Portland. In addition to Elasady's work with Antifa, he seems to an anti-Israel supporter of the Palestinians. Elasady wrote an article on Socialistworker.org where he defended those who “leverage moral indignation at Nazi crimes against the Jewish people to draw attention to oppression of the Palestinians by Israel." He wrote another article on Socialistworker.org in which he praised anti-Israeli professor Steven Salaita. He's been arrested for assault and furnishing alcohol to a minor but it's unclear the charges were riot related. Elasady is the co-founder of Students United for Palestinian Equal Rights (SUPER) at Portland State University. He holds a Social Science degree from PSU and works in tech, kind of, as a Senior Email Deliverability Consultant at Act-On Software (I'm pretty sure there's a button in Outlook you can check for an email delivery receipt). He lives in a rather humble three bedroom house in southeast Portland that he purchased for about $100K, probably from his girlfriend's parents. https://web.archive.org/web/20210122040353/https://wearemany.org/bio/wael-elasady https://archive.is/617Pe https://archive.vn/28rnI https://archive.vn/FPC7U https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_t64dLQRQk&t=2s&ab_channel=JoeAnybody
