Notes

Jeffrey Michael Silverstein (DOB: 10/21/92) participated in the violent counter-protest to the Unite the Right rally with several of his relatives, including his mother. He answered a call by his sister Rabbi Rachel Schmelkin (https://antifawatch.net/ViewReport/1a0673e2) to come to Charlottesville to fight the alt-right. He's not clergy but he attended a direct-action session for the clergy and marched with them. He later wrote an opinion piece for the Cincinnati paper about his experiences. Silverstein studied film at the radical University of Colorado and later studied at the Hebrew Union College. He recently (2022) moved from Cincinatti to L.A. to be with his fiancé. Trivia: he named his dog after a matzo brand. https://archive.ph/QXxUi https://archive.ph/7oStA#selection-723.11-723.30
