Notes

Mollie Ann Piatetsky (DOB: 09/08/90) is the vocalist for the Antifa affiliated black metal band Closet Witch which played at the Antifa sponsored music festival "Black Flags Over Brooklyn" in 2019. The music festival featured numerous Antifa affiliated bands, mostly of the black metal and punk genre. Black Flags billed itself as, "An anti-fascist, anti-racist extreme metal festival held in the dark heart of Brooklyn on January 25-26, 2019." Closet Witch also recorded for the "Riffs for Reproductive Justice" album which raised money for abortion clinics. Piatetsky lives in Muscatine, Iowa which is close to both the college town of Iowa City and to Davenport, Iowa. Check out Closet Witch's full set at the Black Flags festival in the YouTube link below. I think lead screamer rather than lead vocalist is a better description of her role in her band. Somewhat ironically, she's worked for the last 11 years as a receptionist for the Muscatine County sheriff's office (gathering intel?). She has a degree from Temple University but chose to pursue a career in music rather than work at Starbucks. http://archive.vn/lKsJE http://archive.vn/mpe8l http://archive.vn/sZHJX https://archive.vn/gnOIS https://archive.vn/lKsJE https://web.archive.org/web/20210717115024/https://unicornriot.ninja/2019/anti-fascist-solidarity-fostered-nyc-extreme-metal-festival/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eJr7oaZNaw&ab_channel=MaxVolumeSilence https://bandcamp.com/molliepiatetsky https://www.linkedin.com/in/mollie-piatetsky-5a846738
