Notes

Patricia "Trish" Enola Kahle (DOB: 06/14/88) participated in the violent Charlottesville counter-protest in 2017 and later wrote an article about her experiences. She finished her PhD in history at the University of Chicago and now works as an assistant professor at Georgetown University - Qatar. She's worked as a journalist and writer who has won several prizes for her fiction (fake news?). Kahle used to live in the same apartment in Chicago as documentary photographer Abdulelah Aljawarneh, who was also at the riot, and is probably in a relationship with him. The couple seem to have moved to Aljawarneh's native Qatar a year or two ago. https://web.archive.org/web/20201111193703/https://www.redwedgemagazine.com/online-issue/the-bravest-person-i-know-charlottesville https://history.uchicago.edu/sites/history.uchicago.edu/files/uploads/2019_Trish%20Kahle_CV_Fall%202019_Public.pdf https://jacobinmag.com/2020/01/on-fire-burning-case-green-new-deal-naomi-klein-review https://web.archive.org/web/20220208230352/https://gufaculty360.georgetown.edu/s/contact/0031Q00002FzKIhQAN/trish-kahle
