Notes

Sasha Monik Zemmel (DOB: 01/10/90) is the leader of the St. Louis chapter of the radical animal rights group Direct Action Everywhere (DxE) who was arrested in April 2022 for disrupting a Minnesota Timberwolves game. Security tackled her almost as soon as she ran on to the court. The activists were mad because the Timberwolves' owner owns a food company. She was previously arrested at a 2019 animal theft at a Sonoma County (CA) farm and charged with receiving stolen property, trespassing, conspiracy, unlawful assembly and remaining at the scene of a riot. Zemmel also organized a protest against the use of Elephants in the Shriner's circus and was seen assaulting a Shriner in a video. Zemmel also works for We Are the People STL. She lives in a cottage with her elderly father in the Tower Grove South neighborhood of St. Louis. https://archive.ph/gpcOB https://archive.ph/7oVD9 https://archive.ph/5r5qo https://archive.ph/SarSD
