Anthony Maki is one of the many interesting leftist characters to grace the strange Anarchist/DemSoc scene in the Twin cities area. He is a self described "disabled, unemployed, queer, activist" who solicits donations from "affluent white folks" in addition to his friends [1]. In his twitter bio he links to another Twitter account using the antifa__llc as a joke, trying to imply that there is no organized element to Antifa groups [2]. The bio for the antifa__llc account is "be gay, do crimes" [3]. There is also an indicator on the Twitter account designating that it is automated by Maki's main account. Maki's bio on his main account also shows support for the Twin Cities DSA chapter and support for "abolition". Maki seems to have extensive contacts with high profile, local Antifa figures including but not limited to Daniel Feidt, a writer for and founding member of Antifa publication Unicorn Riot [4]. On May 28th, 2020, during the George Floyd riots in Minneapolis Maki made a post defending looting [5]. In this May 28th post he argues that looting is workers taking back what is theirs and characterizes the police as the "guardians of white capital".
