Nokomis Maia Lee was arrested at a June 2025 immigration protest in Portland and charged with failure to obey a lawful order. Her only prior was for driving on a suspended license. She lives in Grand Ronde, west of Salem. Nokomis has a "degree" in cosmetology and works as a hairdresser.
