Notes
Brandy Renee Daniels (DOB: 04/12/84) counter-protested at the Charlottesville Unite the Right rally in 2017. She's an ordained minister in the Disciples of Christ denomination, a group that's left-leaning but not particularly known for radicalism. Daniels is another protesting preacher who seems to think Jesus wore black bloc garb. She also appears to be a wannabe martyr as she wrote a short article on martyrdom and riots. Perhaps someday she'll be St. Brandy of Portland the Martyr. She's written a number of other leftist theological articles for various publications. Based on her writing, she appears to have been active in the 2020 Portland riots. She even wrote an article comparing Antifa activists to the Good Samaritan. She resided in Charlottesville at the time of Unite the Right (2017) but moved to Portland in 2020 where there's more rioting. She's part of the Portland Interfaith Clergy Resistance (PICR). She's currently Assistant Professor of Theology and Womens' and Gender Studies at the University of Portland. She's probably a lez. Daniels serves as the co-chair for the Queer Studies in Religion unit, as the co-chair for both the LGBTQ and Queer Studies Interest Group and the Women’s Caucus of the Society of Christian Ethics Daniels holds a PhD in Theology from Vanderbilt and was doing post-doctoral work at UVA in 2017. She has something really weird going on with her upper gums and/or mouth as she looks like a horse when she smiles widely. Daniels lives in northeast Portland which is a favored Antifa hangout. https://archive.vn/K3jN3, https://archive.vn/tTLhS, https://archive.vn/8pjsc, https://archive.vn/MtEKx, https://archive.vn/h2sGB
