Timothy "Tim" Dean Kauchak (DOB: 08/22/78) is a former police officer who claims he left the Williston, ND force in 2008 because he thought cops were too mean to civilians. However, he had a conviction for stalking that year so he may have left involuntarily. He live streamed from a riot in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle in early June 2020. He was hit by a flash bang grenade and pushed into the bushes by police. He claimed to suffer from PTSD and complained he no longer felt safe attending riots. Kauchak later sued the city. In addition to his stalking conviction, he has two protection order violations in Washington as well as a conviction of possession of marijuana, a charge for possession of drug paraphernalia and a disorderly conduct charge. Kauchak works as for the Washington Department of Labor as a Health and Safety Compliance Officer and lives in Seattle. (pp. 134-136)
