William "Will" R. Livernois (born Aug. '95) is a member of the radical environmental group Scientist Rebellion and was part of a group who blocked the road to Burning Man in August 2023. He was quoted by the left-wing UK news rag the Guardian as saying, "We have to shift away from Burning Man's green Capitalism and focus on degrowth". Livernois was arrested in 2022 for blocking the entrance to a Portland building. He protested at a Seattle airport in November 2022. As of 2022, he was a PhD candidate at the University of Washington.
