Notes

Merle Holly Hoffman (DOB: 03/06/46) is one of the founders of the radical Revcom linked group Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights. She's a long-time abortion activist who founded the National Abortion Federation in 1976 and the Pro-Choice Coalition in 1985. She also founded a NYC abortion center known as the Flushing Women's Medical Center. Despite her long history of protest, she's managed to avoid criminal charges. However, Hoffman doesn't appear to enjoy paying taxes as she had numerous state and Federal tax liens in the amounts of $211K, $650K, $970K and $220K. In our many investigations of radicals, we've never seen anyone who's owed so much in back taxes. She claims to be a journalist but seems to be a full-time activist. She adopted a non-aborted Siberian girl in the early 2000s. Hoffman lives in an apartment on Manhattan's Upper West Side. https://riseup4abortionrights.org/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merle_Hoffman https://www.merlehoffman.com/ https://archive.ph/izQF0
