Notes

She's allegedly one of the organizers of the Charlottesville counter protest. Holmes was also active in Occupy Wall Street in the early 2010s and was arrested. She later produced a documentary on the movement. Holmes traveled to Egypt to get ideas from Egyptian radicals. She was described in a Rolling Stone article as an anarchist. Holmes worked for the City University of New York's (CUNY) community TV station for several years. She produced great television such as a French language show with an anti-colonial lens known as Canape. She was later fired, not for producing silly shows, but for organizing on the job. There must have been a huge number of Canape fans because a protest movement formed to force CUNY to rehire Holmes. She lived in NYC for many years and probably continues to reside in the city. https://archive.vn/969Iy, https://archive.vn/O5GdX, https://archive.vn/16qLK#selection-1027.19-1027.32 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2qcrHMEmHA&ab_channel=LeftVoice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ld9MXnUKIM&t=134s&ab_channel=strugglevideomedia
