He was interviewed by a local TV station at a Sacramento George Floyd riot / protest in 2020. His half-sister was arrested for lynching at a 2015 anti-police protest. California broadly defines lynching as forcibly taking a person from police custody and she was pulling a fellow protester away from police. He attended an event to celebrate a cop killer who spent 50 years in a Louisiana prison.
