He said he believes that without protesting, police brutality will continue. “I just feel that things are getting worse.” Over 150 rioters were arrested that night but Garcia isn't listed in any police records. Lady Luck was on his side that night. Although he may not have been violently rioting, the "innocent" participants act as meat shields for the violent radicals and thus are at least partially culpable for the damage.
