Notes

He's a washed-up actor who founded Last Chance for Animals in the 1980s. DeRose is affiliated with the radical group Direct Action Everywhere (DxE) and has appeared publicly with its founder Wyane Hsiung (https://antifawatch.net/ViewReport/02b4d408) as well as other prominent members of the organization. DeRose has allegedly been arrested 11 times for his radical activism and his arrest record goes back at least to 1988 when he was arrested for trespassing during a sit-in at UCLA. In an interview, he seemed to tacitly endorse bombings saying, "You know I always try to say that certain activities like bombings or arson — I always stay away from those things only because they are uncontrollable." If you've never heard of DeRose that's because he hasn't acted since 2010. He wrote an autobiography titled, "In Your Face" about his activism. He's believed to live in the Los Angeles area. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_DeRose https://archive.ph/wN0Ij https://archive.ph/3zIVN https://archive.ph/7Zy6J
