Notes

Cherri Lynn Foytlin (Born Aug. '73) is an indigenous wannabe journalist who was arrested at a 2016 riot in Baton Rouge. She claims to be a journalist but isn't affiliated with any media outlet and there's no evidence she sells her work. Foytlin told police she had a press pass but couldn't produce it. She claimed she stood in the middle of protesters because she wanted to document police and protesters. She was stripped searched twice in jail. Foytlin later sued the city over her arrest. Foytlin traveled to a BLM protest in Detroit during George Floyd's summer of love. She posts a lot of left-wing and anti-Trump garbage on Instagram. She appears to advocate rioting in an April 2024 photo on IG which shows a black fist surrounded by flames with the caption "Set the World on Fire". Foytlin works as the outreach director for the environmental group Gulf Change lives in the small town of Rayne near Lafayette. https://clearinghouse-umich-production.s3.amazonaws.com/media/doc/97007.pdf (pp 61-64)
