Thomas was one of the L.A. chapter of Rise Up 4 Abortion's leaders. She participated in a pro-abortion protest in Washington, D.C. in June 2022 and spent five days in front of the court. Thomas claimed the conditions were "brutal" with limited hygiene and nutrition available and that counter-protesters "literally threw" their talking points back at them. She also said Rise Up was extremely disorganized and didn't provide promised housing and food. Thomas led an abortion rally at the gay pride tower at Venice Beach in May 2022. She was banned from Dodger's stadium for hanging an abortion banner. She later left Rise Up and claimed in a YT video that the group is abusive in its recruitment of high schoolers.
