Sunsara Taylor was identified by Buzzfeed as leading a protest with Refuse Fascism outside of Trump Tower in New York City on August 14, 2017. According to the same article, Refuse Fascism was founded by the Revolutionary Communist Party. One of the initiators of Refuse Fascism was Weather Underground terrorist member Bill Ayers. Numerous protest organized by Refuse Fascism have devolved into violence and mayhem, including the February 1, 2017 UC Burkeley Riot to shut down Milo Yiannopolis' speech and the January 20, 2017 (#J20) riots during the innaugeration of president trump. After Milo's speech was shut down after protesters violently attacked those waiting in line to get in and rioters went on to cause over $100,000 dollars in damage, Refuse Fascism issued a statement praising the rioters and calling for more.
