Tyler Nicholas McFarland (DOB: 03/05/82) is an eco-terrorist who was arrested at a 2019 Greenpeace occupation of a bridge over the Houston Ship Channel. Ship traffic was unable to move into or out of the port during the protest. He was charged with impairing the operation of critical infrastructure (Federal) and obstructing a highway. While he was a college student, he protested against the University of Vermont's investment in climate change. He was also affiliated with the environmental group 350 Action. McFarland has a B.A. in environmental studies from the University of Vermont. He lives in Southern New Hampshire.
