Emma Katherine Bogush travelled from Connecticut to Atlanta to defend the forest from the "evil" police who were planning to chop it down to build a training facility. At a March 2023 riot, Bogush was arrested with over 20 others and held on suspicion of domestic terrorism. Antifa shot explosives at police and destroyed construction equipment at the riot. Bogush has an Associate's Degree in liberal arts from a local community college. She appears to have attended Towson College in Maryland for a few years, but it must have been too difficult, and she dropped out.
