As reported by Post Millennial, she's the founder of Dallas Justice Now (DJN), a BLM affiliated group that mailed flyers in the summer of 2021 to Democrats living in the Dallas suburb of Highland Park, Dallas' answer to Beverly Hills. The flyers asked parents to pledge not to send their kids to Ivy League schools or any university in U.S. News & World Report's top 50 rankings. In response, thousands of limousine liberals pledged to send their little snowflakes to Texas A&M University instead (not really). The group promised to publish the names of the parents who accepted the pledge as well as those who rejected it but to date (Oct '21) they haven't released any names. The action was initially dismissed by the left-wing alternative press of Dallas as a right-wing hoax. Snopes, the left's not very accurate arbiter of truth, did a lengthy but not very convincing expose on the group claiming it was a hoax. However, given that DJN has an active website with numerous, if poorly written articles, it appears the group is a legit, if highly misguided, attempt at achieving racial justice. Additionally, the group has taken on a co-leader, Ndure Cain, who has appeared in several videos. Washington said that numerous wealthy white residents including those who live in the 95% white Park Cities think they're "allies" because Black Lives Matter signs sit on their property or they, "parade black people like animals at their charity galas. They are the problem. If whites want to be our allies, they MUST make sacrifices." She's also a doxxer. Washington accused a woman who spoke out against DJN's initiative a "Karen" and doxxed her personal info which was published by Dallas City Wire. Take the pledge if you please.
