He's the University of Washington campus organizer for the radical Students for a Democratic Society. Chabaud is also affiliated with the Chinese supported Freedom Road Socialist Organization. He participated in a mob action to block entrances at a Seattle ICE facility in June 2025. Judging by the lack of response by ICE agents, they weren't very successful.
