Shao is an honors accounting student at the University of South Florida who participated in a violent protest at the university which was organized by the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS). Four SDS members were arrested for assaulting police and other charges, but Shao wasn't one of them. She was previously at a February 2023 protest against Gov. DeSantis' efforts to ban genital mutilation of Florida children. She also participated in an anti-police rally the same month. Judging by her voice, she's a biological female but could possibly be dyke or identify as male since she wears masculine clothing. Shao lives in the Tampa area.
