Notes

Heather Ann VanDeventer (DOB: 07/07/72) is an Episcopalian priest who attended an obnoxious protest at Richard Spencer's residence in early 2017. The rally appears to have been an attempt to drive Spencer from his home. This was several months prior to the Unite the Right rally before Spencer gained notoriety. At the time she was affiliated with Christ Church in Alexandria. She was later appointed Dean of St. John's cathedral in Spokane. She moderated a series of discussions on "civil discourse" which is rather ironic since she participated in the rather uncivil protest against Spencer. I suppose it's only the Right that's supposed to be civil. She can get Medieval on your azz. VanDeventer has an undergrad degree from Yale where she majored in Medieval history. Surprisingly, for an Episcopalian priest, she doesn't appear to be gay. Her husband is also a priest, and the happy couple has two teenagers. Even though she isn't a lez, she describes herself as a "fierce advocate for queer youth" although even by Episcopalian standards, she doesn't look very fierce. She lives with her husband the priest in the Spokane diocese's 4,500 sq. ft. McMansion down the street from the cathedral. I'm sure she invites lots of homeless people to brunch every Sunday. https://archive.ph/YExP8#selection-439.58-439.82 https://archive.ph/6YrMb
