She was arrested at a violent protest in a NYC subway station over the death of a black homeless man in May 2023. Rioters jumped on the tracks and blocked subway doors, trapping riders inside the subway cars. She was charged with terrorism, unlawful interference with a train, obstructing governmental administration and criminal trespassing. Her terrorism charges were later dropped. She's one of the co-founders of the radical youth group Warriors in the Garden and the founder of Black Mental Health NYC. Despite the fact she's the same age, she's a different person from Kiara Williams of Nebraska. Williams used to write for Cosmopolitan magazine.
