Hokunokaoi "Hoku" Jeffrey is a national organizer for the radical group By Any Means Necessary (BAMN) and is very active in Los Angeles area radical protests. He was the UC-Berkeley BAMN chapter leader while he was a grad student. Even though he never attended the University of Michigan, he was one of the plaintiffs in BAMN's lawsuit to uphold affirmative action at the university and he spoke at a rally on campus. He protested a visit to Berkeley by conservative media personality Ann Coulter in 2017. Jeffrey traveled to a BAMN protest at the University of Michigan in 2017 and spoke to the mob. He organized an immigration protest outside an ICE center in Long Beach in 2021. Jeffrey is originally from the big island of Hawaii. He has a B.A. in ethnic studies from UC-Berkeley. Jeffrey lives in an apartment near the Koreatown neighborhood in L.A.
