Sabine V. Von Mering (born Feb. '67) is an environmental radical and professor of German, Women's and Sexuality Studies at Brandeis University who drove to Minnesota in 2021 to protest a pipeline. She chained herself to a truck and was arrested for felony theft. She had a prior for trespassing in 2016 which may have been protest related. She's known for dressing up in a polar bear costume and standing outside bank branches to protest fossil fuel.
