Notes
Nam is allegedly connected to the Marquez/Vogel crew of Rose City Antifa. His Twitter feed contains advice to Portland rioters. Nam was spotted in a photo to commemorate a planning meeting for a May Day rally in the mid 2010s. He's been a social studies teacher at Wells High School in Portland for over 20 years. Nam supported radical politician Sarah Iannarone's (https://antifawatch.net/ViewReport/a83abec7) bid to become mayor in 2020 and even participated in an online seminar with her. He also pushed to rename Wilson HS because he claimed Woodrow Wilson was a racist. Nam may have been active with Occupy PDX in the early 2010s as he invited Occupiers to speak to his students. He wrote a letter to the Oregon State Legislature advocating for a $15/hr. minimum wage and socialized medicine. Nam was born in Korea but his parents moved to L.A. when he was a child. He has a degree in philosophy and poly-sci from Reed College in Portland. He plays in a lot of garage bands for fun. https://archive.vn/6Jyhw, https://archive.vn/2fUP0, https://archive.vn/Nuppz, https://archive.vn/fWZME, https://archive.vn/zsPVt https://www.linkedin.com/in/hyung-nam-0835106
