Lynch-Thomason is a member of the Asheville Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). She hosted DSA sing-alongs on Zoom in 2020 to help members get through the commie created pandemic (really). She's a singer who trained at Bard College in New York and specializes in labor, resistance and Appalachian songs. She also has degrees from Duke and East Tennessee State University. She's originally from Tennessee but is believed to currently live in the Asheville area.
