First Name : Ashely

Last Name : Monterrosa

Approx. Age : 22

State : California

Notes

Her brother was killed by police while looting a Walgreens during a June 2020 George Floyd riot in Vellejo. A cop saw what looked like the butt of a handgun sticking out of Monterrosa's pocket and when he reached for the object, the cop shot him dead. It turns out the object was a hammer (forensic tests proved the hammer wasn't the same one shoved up Paul Pelosi's rectum). Monterrosa shouldn't have brought a hammer to a gun fight. Their dead brother became a cause célèbre for anti-police and Hispanic activists in San Francisco. Monterrosa organized an anti-police protest at the California governor's mansion with her sister Michelle in October 2020. Both sisters, along with 15 supporters, were arrested at the protest but charges were later dropped. The Monterrosa family sued the City of Vallejo over her brother's death. She lives with her mother in an apartment in the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. She works for the Boys and Girls Club. https://archive.ph/EkkB8 https://web.archive.org/web/20230426154100/https://casetext.com/case/monterrosa-v-city-of-vallejo (lawsuit)
