He participated in an illegal gay / trans march in Manhattan in June 2020. The march shut down the Westside Highway. He doesn't appear to have been arrested but his arm was broken in the melee. He was photographed walking down the street with blood streaming down his face which is a bit frightening given he works for an AIDS group. Rosenberg is a member of the gay AIDS group ACT UP. He works as communications manager for an HIV group. He's Jewish but hates Israel. He has a B.A. in poly-sci and African-American studies from SUNY Buffalo.
