Aka "Rebel Vegana" (Rebel Vagina?), she's a member of the radical animal rights group Direct Action Everywhere (DxE). She ran on to the field at a Detroit Lion's game on Thanksgiving Day in 2015 and got banned from NFL games for life. She claimed to have disrupted many politicians in 2016, presumably at campaign events. She started a radical book club called #RebellingReaders in 2020. In addition to "animal liberation" she wants to abolish the police and ICE. In an interview on DXE's website she said, "Before joining DxE, I had never even heard the term “person of color” or knew I was a part of this group. I was so uneducated about critical race theory, but DxE changed all that for me. Learning more about critical race theory, lead me to the path of decolonizing myself. I had always wanted to know more about my roots and who I really am and DxE encouraged that in me. My path to decolonizing myself has lead to identify myself as a Xicana." She claims to indigenous although she's a light-skinned Mexican-American. Rodriguez describes herself as a queer person of color.
