She's tied in to the Tristan Romine-Mann (Tristan Isaac) gang within Rose City Antfa. Caines is an activist and environmentalist who lead an attempt to recall Portland's mayor Wheeler in 2021. She ultimately failed. Caines previously worked for Rising Tide PDX, an environmental justice group that blocked rail lines for oil trains. She participated in at least one "action" where demonstrators sat on train tracks but it's unknown if Caines was arrested.
