In arrest warrants, Gastonia Police claim Novelli failed to disperse from a demonstration on East Franklin Boulevard when he was commanded to by police. Novelli was given a $2,000 secured bond by Jackson. Novelli was also charged with simple assault and theft after getting into a fight with Marshall Andrew Starnes.
