Notes

Betsy Roash Raasch-Gilman (DOB: 7/12/52) is a long-time anarchist activist who was part of a radical group known as the RNC Welcoming Committee. Eight members of the RNC Welcoming Committee were arrested under Minnesota's terrorism laws although Raasch-Gilman was not arrested. She unknowingly worked with an undercover sheriff's deputy to raise money for the group which helped to expose the conspiracy. Her mother was a socialist and Raasch-Gilman started protesting as a teen during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Movement for a New Society. She got into anarchism in the late '90s and was at the Seattle WTO protest in 1999. She claims to be friendly with the Anarchist Black Cross. She was one of the drafters of the St. Paul Principles which is an anarchist code of conduct. She's currently active with the radical group Showing Up for Racial Justice. She's a member of the pacifist Quaker church and lives in St. Paul. https://archive.vn/L2Tto#selection-2047.6-2047.19 https://ia800104.us.archive.org/28/items/tfsradio-20171029-Betsy_Raasch-Gilman/Betsy.pdf
