Daniel "Dan" Aaron Strauss (DOB: 04/12/86) is a left-wing Seattle City Council member who was seen at the CHAZ/CHOP barricades with other radical city council members in June 2020. Strauss represents District 6 in Northwest Seattle. He previously worked for the Alliance for Gun Responsibility to restrict 2nd Amendment rights. Strauss doesn't seem to do much for his constituents. A Ballard area business owner contacted Strauss several times about a homeless problem outside his business and was repeatedly ignored. In fact, his district seems to have a serious homeless problem the city does nothing about. He's a wannabe hero too. In 2021 he falsely claimed to have saved a drowning swimmers life. Strauss has a masters in Public Administration from the University of Oregon.
