Shaun S. Scott (DOB: 11/08/84) is a left-wing Seattle filmmaker and writer who was interviewed at the CHAZ autonomous zone in 2020. He compared CHAZ/CHOP to the Occupy movement. Scott ran for the Seattle city council in 2018 and lost but is running for a Washington state representative seat in 2024. He worked on extreme left-wing Congresswoman Pramila Jaypal's campaign and was the Washington state field director for Bernie's campaign in 2020. Scott supports the Green New Deal for the city of Seattle. He's a member of Seattle's DSA chapter and the DSA has endorsed his campaigns.
