https://www.silive.com/crime/2020/09/staten-island-man-arrested-3rd-time-at-protest-this-time-allegedly-punched-kicked-cops.html A Staten Island man who attended several protests in the city this summer is facing felony charges after he punched two police officers in the face and kicked one in Manhattan, police allege. Police arrested Alvin Dan, 28, of South Gannon Avenue, while he was attending a Black Lives Matter protest in Washington Square Park on Sept. 18, an NYPD spokesman said. In July 2024, he was seen on camera assaulting a banker outside a New York courthouse. The banker had earlier been charged with assault after he defended himself from attack by a group of antisemitic NYC radicals. A Twitter account who follows NYC radicals alleged Dan was involved in the Thanksgiving Day parade disruption and a radical disruption of a Met gala. Dan doesn't have any criminal convictions on his record so Manhattan's left-wing DA, who prosecuted Trump for imaginary crimes, may have dismissed them like he did for so many radicals. Dan was living on Staten Island at the time of the 2020 riots but seems to have moved to the Bed-Stuy neighborhood in Brooklyn. https://archive.is/jtbFB https://x.com/i/status/1808249505500090840
