McKnight ran on the court during a Golden State Warriors game in June 2022 to protest the overturning of Roe v. Wade. She was dragged off the court and later sedated without her consent (but that's what they do to crazy people and large animals). She later filed a Federal civil rights lawsuit against the fire department for giving her free drugs. It should surprise no one that she has a B.A. from Berkeley. She works as a career counselor for the SEIU UHW-West & Joint Employer Education Fund. She's volunteered as a river guide for the Sierra Club.
